[they had been relaxing for the night, having settled down somewhere in the Route between Pewter and Mt. Moon, considering he's still getting used to this place and... well, doesn't have a really strong team compared to hers.

doesn't stop her for looking a bit... strange tonight, though.]

--Huh?

[ Xion startles from her thoughts... or rather, what was left of them. Having found herself back in Route - and with a Roxas who didn't even remember he was here before - her mind had been busy as of late. She quickly turns her head away from Roxas with a sheepish scratch to her head. ]

It's nothing, really. [ Then she chances a small glance to him. ] I should be asking you that, though: what do you think of Joh-- I mean, Kanto, so far?

It's... Different, I guess.

[To be honest, he's not really sure on what to feel about this place just yet, but that's probably because he's not that used to being human for now.

At least the concept of traveling is something he's familiar with, and a familiar face accompanying him is...

Nice.]

But in a good way.

[ She smiles widely for him. Out of all people she wished to feel happiness, Roxas would be that person. She just hoped this time would be different.

For however long it would last this time, anyway. ]

I'm glad. I think you're gonna like this world, Roxas. It's less... hectic?

[...and, absentmindedly petting his curled-up Skitty on his lap.]

And the fact that it's really... lively.

[ Having gotten most of her old team back from Riku, Xion is lying against her Garchomp, whose large body is almost protectively curled around her. ]

You're not too overwhelmed by it? I know I kind of was the first time I was here.

[ Which would be understandable, you know. Given she thought she was dead. ]

Well, it's just another world, right?

[Funny thing, he's from before all the heartbreaking things happened, so he's not really sure on how to take it in any other way but acceptance.]

[ Her smile is a bit wry at that. Yeah, she's not too keen on breaking Roxas' views. ]

One we can't leave voluntarily, remember? I mean... would you wanna go back to the Organization?

[ Here, her voice gets a little soft, a little guarded. ]

[There's a sigh as he just leaned back. Sure, it's... kinda relieving to not have any kinds of missions and to just relax here with Xion.

But he's not eager to find out what Xemnas would say if he found out that they're slacking off in god knows where—

Is there even a God?]

I don't know.

[That's why he decided on a neutral answer instead.]

[ That does surprise a bit, but then she thinks he's probably taking Axel into account. ]

Right... Are you worried about Axel?

Of course I am, he's our friend.

[sides, he's pretty sure he's worrying about them right now, despite the fact that time's stopped and all that jazz.]

He should be okay. It might be strange to think about at first, but while we're here, Roxas, time has stopped over there.
